What Is the TIKKIT X App? A Guide for Event Attendees in Pakistan

The TIKKIT X app is where your event passes, QR codes, and registrations live. Here's what it does, how to use it, and why events in Pakistan are moving to it.

You registered for an event. You received a confirmation. Somewhere in that confirmation is a mention of the TIKKIT X app and a QR code. Here's what that means and how to use it.

What TIKKIT X Is

TIKKIT X is Pakistan's event platform — the system that organisers use to create events, manage guest lists, coordinate vendors, and run check-in. As an attendee, you interact with one part of that ecosystem: the TIKKIT X app on your phone.

The app is where your passes live. Every event you register for through TIKKIT X generates a unique QR code that's stored in the app. When you arrive at the event, the organiser scans it. You're in.

What the App Contains

Your passes. Each event you've registered for appears as a pass in the app. It shows the event name, date, time, venue, your ticket type, and your unique QR code. Think of it as a digital wallet for your events.

Your event history. Past events you've attended are archived in the app. If you need proof of attendance — for CPD certificates, expense claims, or just to remember when something happened — it's there.

Notifications. Organisers can send updates through the platform — a schedule change, a venue update, a reminder for tomorrow's class. These arrive as notifications in the app rather than cluttering your SMS inbox.

Event details. Venue address, parking information, dress code, what to bring — all in the app, no need to dig through email.

How Check-In Works

When you arrive at an event, open the TIKKIT X app and go to your pass for that event. The QR code is displayed full-screen.

The organiser's check-in team scans it with their device. The scan takes about two seconds. You're marked as arrived. Done.

The QR code is unique to you and to that specific event. It can only be used once, which means it can't be shared or duplicated. This is why event organisers trust it — it's cryptographically verified, not just a screenshot of a code someone texted you.

What if you don't have phone signal? The pass works offline. Once it's loaded in the app, you don't need internet to display it. If you're at a venue in the mountains or a building with poor signal, open the app before you lose connectivity and the pass will be ready.

Types of Events Where You'll Use It

The TIKKIT X app covers a wide range of event types across Pakistan:

Corporate events. Annual dinners, conferences, product launches, team retreats. Your company registers you, you receive your pass. If it's a tiered event with VIP access, your pass reflects your ticket type and the check-in team will see it automatically.

Yoga classes and wellness sessions. If your yoga teacher uses TIKKIT X Pulse to manage their schedule, you book through their link and receive a QR pass for each class. Your teacher scans it when you arrive.

Private parties and gatherings. Invite-only events use QR check-in to ensure only registered guests enter. The host sent you an invitation link; you registered through it; your pass is your entry.

Retreats and workshops. For multi-day programmes, your pass may cover the full duration or individual sessions. The organiser will brief you on how check-in works for the specific format.

Venue bookings. If you book a sports court, rehearsal studio, or co-working space through TIKKIT X Venues, the booking confirmation generates a pass for the slot you've reserved.

How to Download and Set Up

  1. Download the TIKKIT X app from the App Store or Google Play (search "TIKKIT X")
  2. Create an account with your email address
  3. Register for an event through any TIKKIT X event link
  4. Your pass appears in the app automatically

If you already registered for an event before downloading the app, log in with the same email address you used to register — your passes will be waiting.

Common Questions from Attendees

I received a registration confirmation but can't find my QR code.
Open the TIKKIT X app and go to your Passes section. If you registered with the same email, your pass is there. If not, check that you're logged in with the correct email address.

Can I transfer my pass to someone else?
No. Passes are issued to the registered guest and are not transferable. If you can't attend, contact the organiser to cancel or transfer the registration at their discretion.

The event organiser says my QR code is invalid.
This happens if: you're showing the wrong event's code, the code has already been scanned (it's a one-time use), or there's a registration status issue. Show the organiser your name and they can look you up in the guest list manually.

Do I need the app, or can I use a screenshot of the QR code?
Most organisers on TIKKIT X use QR codes that only work through the app (they contain verification data that a screenshot doesn't). Some events accept printed or screenshot QR codes — the organiser will specify. When in doubt, use the app.

I have multiple events registered. How do I find the right pass?
The app sorts your passes by date, with upcoming events first. The current day's event appears at the top.

The app isn't working at the event venue.
Open the app before you lose signal — passes work fully offline once loaded. If the app crashes, restart it. If the issue persists, the check-in team can look you up by name in their dashboard.

For Organisers: Why the App Matters for Your Attendees

If you're running an event on TIKKIT X and wondering whether your guests will actually use the app — they will, with the right framing.

Include in your confirmation email:

Most people download and set up an app in under three minutes when they have a clear reason to. A confirmed event they're looking forward to is exactly that reason.

Events that use QR check-in through the app report significantly shorter check-in queues, fewer "I lost my ticket" incidents, and a cleaner attendance record than events that use paper lists or manual confirmation.

The app is the mechanism. TIKKIT X is the platform. Together, they replace the clipboard, the spreadsheet, and the WhatsApp group — for both you and your attendees.
