Someone in your city is searching right now for a yoga class. A private dining room for a birthday dinner. A sports court for Saturday morning. A rehearsal studio for Sunday afternoon.
If your space isn't listed anywhere they can find it, that booking goes to someone who is.
This guide covers how to list your venue online in Pakistan — from what platforms make sense to what information you actually need to drive bookings.
Why "We Have a WhatsApp Number" Isn't Enough
Most venues in Pakistan rely on word of mouth, social media DMs, and an ever-growing WhatsApp thread to manage enquiries and bookings. This works until it doesn't.
The problem with WhatsApp-only booking:
- No discovery. You can only reach people who already know you exist. You can't be found by someone searching for "yoga studio DHA Karachi."
- No automation. Every booking requires a human to respond, confirm, take payment details, and follow up. At 40 enquiries a week, this is a part-time job.
- No record. When someone cancels, was it in the main thread or the other one? Did they pay a deposit? You're checking three conversations to find out.
- No professional perception. A Google Maps listing with a booking link conveys a level of organisation that a WhatsApp number doesn't.
What "Listed Online" Actually Means
There are three levels of online presence for a venue in Pakistan:
Level 1: Findable You have a Google Business Profile with your address, hours, phone number, and a few photos. People can find you when they search your name. This is the minimum.
Level 2: Bookable Someone can find you, see your schedule or availability, and book directly — without calling or messaging first. This is where real volume starts.
Level 3: Discoverable You're surfacing for searches you didn't target specifically — people searching for "yoga class near me," "sports court Lahore," or "private event space Karachi" are finding you even though they didn't know your name.
Most venues in Pakistan are stuck at Level 1. Level 2 is achievable in a week. Level 3 is where the real growth is.
What Information You Need Before You List
Before you put your venue on any platform, get these in order:
High-quality photos. The single biggest variable in booking conversion. A space that looks clean, well-lit, and spacious in photos converts. A space that looks dark and cluttered — even if it's actually beautiful — doesn't. Natural light photography is ideal. If you can't do it yourself, hire a photographer for a half-day shoot; it's one of the highest-ROI investments a venue can make.
Accurate capacity information. Maximum capacity for your primary use case (yoga class, seated dinner, court session). If different configurations change the capacity, list them separately.
Clear pricing. Ambiguous pricing ("contact us for rates") creates friction. A per-session rate, hourly rate, or monthly membership price — whatever your model — should be visible on the listing without the guest needing to ask.
Your schedule (if you run programmes). If you offer regular classes or sessions, have your recurring schedule ready to publish. Days, times, instructor, duration.
Cancellation and refund policy. State it clearly. "No refunds within 24 hours" is reasonable. "No refunds" is inflexible and will generate disputes. "Full refund if cancelled 48 hours before" is customer-friendly and easy to enforce.
Google Business Profile: The Non-Negotiable Starting Point
Before anything else, claim or create your Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business). This is free and controls what shows up when someone searches your name, your category, or a nearby location.
To optimise it:
- Add your primary category (Yoga Studio, Sports Complex, Event Venue, etc.)
- Upload at least 10 photos — exterior, interior, your space in use
- Set your hours accurately
- Add your services with descriptions
- Enable messaging
- Respond to every review, positive and negative
This takes two hours to set up properly. It should be the first thing you do.
Listing on TIKKIT X Venues
TIKKIT X Venues & Experiences is a platform designed specifically for active venues in Pakistan — yoga studios, martial arts academies, sports courts, co-working spaces, rehearsal studios, retreat centres, private dining rooms.
What a listing on TIKKIT X gives you:
Programme publishing. Create your recurring class or workshop schedule. Each programme gets its own registration page. Guests browse, register, and receive a QR pass — all without you handling it manually.
Slot bookings. Open your space for hourly or daily bookings. Guests see your available slots, pick one, and book directly. Conflict detection is automatic — you can't double-book.
Enquiry inbox. Private events, corporate hire, custom workshops — requests that don't fit a standard slot come in through a structured enquiry form and land in one inbox. Not your WhatsApp. Not your email. One place.
Discovery. Your programmes and spaces appear in the TIKKIT X explore feed alongside events — reaching an audience actively looking for things to do.
QR check-in. Every registration and booking generates a QR pass in the TIKKIT X app on the guest's phone. You scan at the door.
Onboarding takes under 48 hours. There's no commission on bookings — payments stay between you and your guests.

FAQ
How long does it take to start getting bookings after listing? Google Business Profile visibility builds over 2–4 weeks as Google verifies and indexes your listing. TIKKIT X discovery can start generating enquiries within days of publishing your first programme, particularly if you promote your listing link to your existing audience.
Do I need to handle payment through the platform? For enquiries handled directly (custom bookings, private events), payment stays between you and your guest — offline or via your preferred method. For programme registrations and slot bookings, payment flows are handled through the platform.
What if I only want to take enquiries, not direct bookings? You can list exclusively for enquiries — no open slots, just a profile and an enquiry form. This is common for venues with bespoke pricing or custom requirements. You still get discovered; you just manage the conversion yourself.
My space isn't in Karachi or Lahore — can I still list? Yes. TIKKIT X Venues operates across Pakistan. Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Peshawar — wherever your space is, you can list.
I already have an Instagram page with 8,000 followers. Do I need this? Instagram is for building an audience. A booking platform is for converting that audience into paying guests. They serve different purposes. Your Instagram followers still need somewhere to book — give them a direct link, not a DM to send.
